The magSafe case can be used with wireless chargers. Also the grip is a lot stronger. My existing car vent mount cannot handle the samsung S22 Ultra... too heavy :-)

I am not sure about other states, it is not legal to have GPS or phone on the dash in CA. It is ok to put it under the dash or suspended from higher part of the windshield or roof.

For anyone willing to stick the metal plate to the outside of the case, this never let your phone fall. I advise sticking the metal plate to the top of the phone to avoid wireless charging issues.

Not slick by any means but I swear by Magbak mounts and cases. I had issues with these cheap ones over the years but magbak has been rock solid - and chargers right on my dash as well.
