Packaging was very good tbh, not much wiggle room in the shipping box so I'm not kind of surprised by the negative experiences from others.

Exceptions to the rule do not disapprove the rule like others I stay away from this hard drive and Newegg for sure that messed up with me too many times and had to fight for months to get it right.

I look at the warranty as an adjunct to MTBF. They do risk calculations to determine an appropriate warranty period so as to not lose money and at 1 year this one must be high risk.

Maybe because it is from Newegg and has only a 1 year warranty. I, personally, am waiting for the 14TB easystore for $200 or a higher capacity for similar $/TB.
