If you’re not getting a longer seat post, just wrap the OEM post with gaffers or painters tape. I agree it seems sketchy, but the added diameter and resistance held my fat 235lb body up without issue...

When climbing up hill, does changing the speed level (1 through 3) make any difference for you? For me, it doesn't make any change at all, same slow speed, no torque at all.
