Deal is dead at Newegg, but available for only ~$20 more ($249.99) from Amazon and ASUS. Also on Newegg I see pricing as low as $238.99 but they are 3rd party sellers.

Any thoughts on this versus the Zenwifi XT8 AX 6600? Other than the XT8 having a higher 2.5GB WAN input, versus 1 GB on this unit, I dont see any difference.

Works better for me. I actually made that same upgrade. It depends on your individual home though and there is a setting for adjusting when it hands over.
