They're probably in the "everyone else" tier but I'm not entirely sure. I don't know if the Hyundai brand SSDs are related to SK Hynix or not. SK Hynix was originally HYundai ElectroNICS.

Why not use actual thumb drives, without the need for a cable. 256GB thumb drives are available same price as these, or even lower.

These are perfect for older game consoles (PS4, PS3, XBOX 360...). Even if it can't make use of the fast transfer speeds, it's good for instant seek times.

I'll second this. I got one of these pny ssds last time they were on sale. It completely failed a few months later. It's the only SSD I've ever had fail on me , let alone without warning.

Wow. 5 years ago it was $100. Definitely a good buy for older systems. I upgraded my PS3 and perfect for emulation.

It was with TV shows specifically. They would not be organized as related in any way. Each file was treated as it's own entity. I admit I did not look into how Plex would prefer to have the...

This drive is slower than a spinning disk drive, and when moving around a lot of files it gets slower than a usb 2.0 thumb drive. You'll be in for a world of disappointment.

PNY is bottom barrel brand I woudl never trust. Samsung SSD #1 or WD NVME. Crucial, Sandisk, Adata and Kingstone, also gud brands.

It's fine for the most part, so long as things are named "correctly". There's still things it struggles with though. I've had movies where the cover art it defaulted to was just an image from the...

From the comments here, it sounds like a pretty "meh" SSD. I'm sure it's faster than your typical HDD. But if you're using this as the OS disk for a typical PC, it sounds like there's better...
