At 1440p your GPU will be limiting your frame rate for most games. At 1080p, you’ll be more cpu bound.

FYI: They relisted this on Amazon, originally it was Dec 16th delivery. This new batch shows me Jan 23rd delivery(only option). So be prepared to wait a long time.
