It works well. However, the installation was a pain because my door sag a bit so the hole doesn't line up perfectly. I had to make all kind of adjustments for it to work.

you buy the Kwikset version of this that you can rekey yourself. You will end up paying a lot less than if you bought this + paid a locksmith

Mine lasted longer and I'm pretty sure it notified me when it had low batteries so maybe it was a newer model.

The keypad helps but it eats batteries. Maybe 1-2 months. It doesn't have a notification either so it will just randomly die on you.
