12 inch is out of stock, got the last 12 inch from Best Buy that was 40 miles away. It’s so good, that I am keeping it and tempted to buy another.

I replaced Klipsch ported Rs-12wi 200 watts with Rel 1205. I can’t tell you the night and day difference. Rel is tight, integrates better and doesn’t rattle or resonate. It’s a musical sub for the...

There is much, much more detail to go into. However, all three brands are amazing and will not let you down (REL, SVS, Monolith) for music or movies. If you bought one of these three you should not...

Check the return shipping policy for REL. If it’s free, REL is better for the 60-day listening window. Otherwise, you might want to go with BestBuy for their free return, even if it’s only 15 days.

Quick question...easier to return to best buy, with only 15 days, or easier directly to REL with 60 days?

In my experience, stepping up to the $500-700 range for subs is mostly about SPL and output. You're going from the jbl with 300W RMS to something like the HT/1205 with 500W of power. If that's not...

I've got a jbl 550p myself that I use primarily for music. How big is the room? For a small to medium sized room the jbl does pretty well. In a large room, a more expensive sealed sub (along the...

So did you listen to both the SVS 10" and 12" SB models? Edit: I see the SB-1000 and SB-2000 are both 12" models. The 2000 has a larger amp and enclosure volume.

I have jbl 550p and i wonder if the rel HT/1205 or HT/1003 will be significant enough of an upgrade or if it even an upgrade at all. I only care about music performance and only want sealed sub. Is...

Were the REL's the only sealed model you tested? Sealed subs usually have tighter more defined bass at the expense of output. I run 5 sealed subs in my HT, and one in my secondary system.
