Which exercises? I'd say on pressing movements they're fine but curls don't feel as natural. However, not as unnatural as BowFlex. Just curious what movements you had problems with.

While this is true, keep in mind that these go up in 5lb increments while the expandable ones go up in 10lb increments. You get the 5lb (and 2.5lb) increments with the adder weights in the handles....
