Sorry for the late reply. I have a King 1000/6000 stone for the majority of my needs, and a cheapo 400 grit diamond stone that I use to work out chips.

Is there a stone you recommend? I have never sharpened a knife at all and am looking to learn… I am thinking I will look up YouTube videos, but want to buy the right stone first. Thanks!

It's in my comment. Look for the petty/utility knife version from either seller.
Victorinox should have named this better; it's not a standard chef's knife. It's a petty/utility knife.
If...

I recommended the knife and the seller. Bought this knife from them in 2020 for the same price.
I now have the 5, 6, 8, and 10 inch versions of this. This 6" replaced the 5" as my petite wife's...

I have both this knife and 8" knife. Ever since I got this one I rarely use the 8". It's just too big, imo. I'm not a professional chef, but I can't imagine where I would prefer a big 8" knife over a...

I use this one. It works well enough. You do kind of have to pinch it at the sides though when you are grabbing the knife or it can slip out.

The 8” knife is taller which helps with chopping. The 7.5” is more a utility knife I think. Pretty much the same knife though.

Already have an 8” and it’s quite big. 6” will be a good secondary knife.

Yeah, we have the one with the wave edge, paid about $30 last year. It's really sharp, and can cut semi-frozen chickens.
The downside is when it becomes dull, it's very difficult to sharpen it. We...

Right, it's not a proper chef knife - but for most practical purposes it works great. Can do lots of versatile cutting with this 6" Winco.

That is indeed a great price, but it's a very different kind of knife than the one in OP's deal. This one is more comparable.
