Well the iPhone 4/4S is (one) of the best designed phones out there. The glass on front, glass on back, with an aluminium banding around the edges. It is the number one reason people buy iPhones....

From an engineers point of view, I like the customization of Android better. I also find it easier to use. But as schooby said, if you're not going to tinket, stick with iOS.
