It seems Jump automatically installs TightVNC if you have no other already installed. If you want another VNC software, like RealVNC, you need to install and configure it manually. Sort of defeats...

There are multiple desktop VNC servers, if you used Tiny or Tight then try Real.

Jump Desktop just crashes on my DroidX. Hope they fix it. Splashtop works just fine.

Not so much better, as different, and depending on the use scenario, cheaper. Many work environments wouldn't allow installing the desktop app required for the above, block the RDP protocol...
