It seems Jump automatically installs TightVNC if you have no other already installed. If you want another VNC software, like RealVNC, you need to install and configure it manually. Sort of defeats...

Are you saying the program offers a choice of VNC servers during installation on the desktop? I don't recall having a choice.

There are multiple desktop VNC servers, if you used Tiny or Tight then try Real.

Jump Desktop just crashes on my DroidX. Hope they fix it. Splashtop works just fine.

Not so much better, as different, and depending on the use scenario, cheaper.
Many work environments wouldn't allow installing the desktop app required for the above, block the RDP protocol...

Just installed on Galaxy Nexus on logged on to my work PC. Pretty awesome. I will install on touchpad too which is more suitable for apps like this one.
