A few dollars, $10, it's no biggie. You can just use a card with a bit more on it, or a few different cards. My credit union lets you get prepaid visas with no activation fee, so I get ones for $15...

Well, if you got your $$ credited back, why would you call your cc company?
You can try emailing them via their contact form at mybonuscenter - I've always gotten a response to emails....

so called the mag 800-429-2500 got the automated CSR - (btw all numbers go there)
asked 'her' about the $51 billing charge - was never charged $2 - just $50 and $1 as separate charges
finally got...
