Received mine today. Looks and works like new. Quite a performance boost from a 8 year old d-link di-524 router. I like the USB port, works nicely with my usb external drive.

I don't think you will notice a difference in your internet between N and G routers because your internet needs to be super fast to make a difference. You would need speeds like 50 Mbps or 100 Mbps...

Just go to http://www.dd-wrt.com/ and go to the router database. Put in Linksys and you'll see all Linksys routers that are supported or listed. That's the official list. The E1550 is not listed. ...

I just ordered this. Final price is $18. Should be perfect for my home setup with 3 computers, 2 wireless printers, and WD TV Live and WD TV Live Plus. I may even add a portable drive to it.

I once bought a refurbished linksys router. I think it was the 610N. Anyways, it sucked, and finally replaced it with a Netgear, and the speed difference was at least triple. Needless to say I won't...
