I just tried the t4i with the 40mm stm lens. I can't say that I'm super impressed with the autofocus while shooting video. It seems too slow. Is it just me?

For video I'm not too sure, but would think that any STM lens would work well. Canon's 40mm f2.8 STM seems very decent for the price, just be aware that it's a prime lens with no zoom.
