I found it annoying. But, it is an improvement over the first where you have to pick a sword, then a stance, then click to the timing, then hope the game actually aims for the enemie you want it to....

No, they got rid of the click at the right moment thing. Instead, they added a heavy\light attack system they expected you to alternate between for combos. In the end, heavy attack was worthless...

Good story, but you need the books to make total sense of it. Doesn't help that the books are in Polish.

I'm still working on The Witcher. I have The Witcher 2 in my backlog also. The graphics and storyline are great, but it's hard for me to continue playing with the terrible combat system.
