If it smells, you will prob loose it. Just keep it clean, rinsed, and in checked baggage, should be ok.

I've never tried it but my guess would be that it's a close fit. You may be able to get the nozzle in but the bottle would have a hard time venting, and you'd end up with a huge mess.
