Yeah thanks. I'll hold off and get a TV tuner card instead, since my current setup is more than adequate.

New haswell 4th gen processors from intel comes out in may-june what the rumor is but this motherboard won't work with Haswell its new socket. Best thing you can get is i7 3770k for this motherboard.

No Microcenters, I live in Northern California. Even Fry's is about 2 hours away from me. Like I said, I already have a functioning rig so I'd be re-using the video card and PSU, and since this comes...

I got this board for $99 a few weeks ago at Micro Center. I think it may have been a pricing mistake, because it's back up to $160 now.

First things first; do you have a microcenter anywhere around you? If you're starting from scratch, that is the best way to go since they have motherboard and CPU combo deals (they often have $40-50...

it would be smart to wait until haswell so you have a motherboard compatible with the next few chips but then ddr4 will come out and you will need a new board anyway...

That discussion was never even on the table until you guys brought it up. I for one don't give a damn about Haswell because it's certainly going to be fairly expensive at release (especially if...

You can get audio out of DVI-D (DVI-Digital). With DVI-D dual link, you can also get 3D. HDMI 1.x bandwidth is only 3.94Gbits/s, DVI-D single link is 3.96 Gbits/s, for DVI-D dual link it is only...

I was referring to full HDMI, IE with audio. You won't get that out of DVI. I'm also pretty sure you can't get 3D out of DVI, as that requires HDMI 1.4a.
