This is the low-grade Sandisk, not the older Extreme or newer Ultra Plus - it won't perform nearly as well as the. V300 either.

At quick glance, the Kingston has better write speeds by 100MB/sec whereas the Sandisk has better read speeds by 40MB/sec. The SanDisk offers 8 more GB of space but also will cost ~$20 more...

I have a non-extreme SSD and it feels pretty extreme to me. ;) If you are coming from an HDD, then extreme or non-extreme is still miraculous. At some point you're just shaving a second off load...
