IIRC Powercolor only uses reference PCBs. That'll mean that you can get a worth a damn bock instead of a sealed loop. It'll cost more to build a proper loop, but I've had some of my LC components for...

It's frustrating that these cards don't take the price tumble they did 2-3 years ago. When 5850s went on clearance, that was a steal. 90% chance they will. Newegg has excellent customer...

$10 bracket + $30 closed loop water cooler + cheap 7950 = better than stock 7970 performance for less That being said, the Sapphire Boost 7950 for $20 more is a much better buy than this...

I want to upgrade my 6870... but I really should wait until the 8xxx cards.

Waercooling doesn't make much sense on the 7950. A full cover 7950 block goes for around $100, as much as a 7970 block, a watercooled 7950 overclocked to high heaven will not perform better than a...

Early models are most likely reference boards and as such powercolor really did little more than stamp their logo on them.
I have one dead 3870 and one dead 4870. Both powercooler, but they were very early models of both cards. Hard to say if it was the brand or the newness.

I agree. Being a CA tax prisoner I am hammered by both Newegg and Amazon! XFX Double D HD 7950: Don't forget the LIFETIME WARRANTY with XFX which some people think this is worth a few dollars and...

At which point you'll STILL end up paying $50 more:lmao: Plus most people aren't willing to get so deep into the guts of their equipment, they just want to plug n' play. Although the price is...

Another slick price on the 7950. I ordered the Sapphire yesterday but this gets a thumbs up too.

why is this getting TD? you save $20 over the sapphire one, but you can put that $20 towards a third party cooler which would offer ever superior cooling

You could always modify the bios to enable voltage unlock. Awesome deal for watercooling. Are the codes separate or one code for both games? Also, if I buy two, will I still only get one Never...

imo spend $30 more for the Sapphire one if you are not gonna use watercooling on it. The sapphire one is much quieter, cooler with 5 heatpipe design and has more stock overclock potential, because...
