I thought the same thing as you did, but after I read it 2x, he meant that after filling up a card, it would take 800+ seconds to copy it off the card to a computer before being able to reuse the...

I don't think that's the issue. The RX100 doesn't support UHS-1 speeds so it'll be limited to class 10. That's the thing with these UHS-1 cards. That superfast speed is for UHS-1 devices. If you...

I see, I read somewhere that RAW+JPEG (or just JPEG by itself) suffers in write speed, due to JPEG requiring post processing done in-camera. Since RAW just outputs "RAW", it's just dumping as fast...

I was using fine jpeg and 20 mp. Now that you asked I turned on raw+jpg, both dramatically stalled around 7,8 shot, no worth difference shown. On the writing speed, I didn't monitor the red light,...

Bought two sets and both went back. I use cards for higher speed video like GH2. They won't cut it for high bitrate recording. For everyday point shoot - fine.

Sony should be sued for misrepresenting the speed. Common Apple, sue them...lol. We all know that Sandisk makes the best SDHC cards.

Isn't the point of Class XXX to speed up transfers between pictures on the camera to allow for less time between shots? At 39 MB/s it will still take 820 seconds to transfer 32 GB (half for the...
