I never mentioned anything about the health of coconut. I'm well aware of the health benefits. Nonetheless, these bars are loaded with a crazy amount of sugar.

In my experience, they were soft and chewy and not hard at all. Maybe you got a bad one that was expired or something. They did seem overpriced though.

Yea, I'd take Larabar, which have no added sugar, over these. But this is still healthier than 90% of the food deals posted on SD.

fyi, 55% of this bar is sugar (29g sugar/53g total). proportionally, that's more than an almond joy.
