True I heard about that.
I have heard that other factors include you must submit the rebate during the waxing crescent of the third moon while standing on one foot to qualify !!!!

So now it says no resellers, and also $1000 per year limit. So if you are not a reseller doing $999 in rebates you are OK ???

I've had good luck with Trend Micro lately. Norton has been shady and Kaspersky a little resource heavy even when tweaked. Trend has been just right and scores well with the independent AV testers....

Pleased they've actually provided a specific per year limit. But the "other factors" thing still seems like a CYA for them to take rebates to shady town whenever they feel like it. Too bad.

The company that develops the AV software is the company telling the "rebate department" (a third party processor) to deny rebates that are arbitrarily deemed excessive, even if each submitted rebate...

Unless you are submitting numerous Norton rebates per year, Norton has some of the most reliable (and fast) rebates, IMHO.
Some people who submitted double-digit Norton rebates per year...

Norton has started "Auditing" rebates and will reject it if they suspect you are reselling the product. They dont need to prove anything. Just suspscion is enough to trigger a rejection.
