Yes, it was an additional Blue promotion that ran parallel with the main AmEx promotion.
Prior to purchasing the cards you had to sign up on a Blue Savings page which I can no longer locate.

True.. But the card clearly says that it expires June 30.. So it is YMMV at the restaurant.. I am going to call Amex and ask them to send me one again.. :)
