Price wise, it is tough to put surplus / overrun ammo up against traditional mil spec or brand labeling, even if it is still mil spec. Packaging, marketing, branding, codes and distribution also play...

Walmart, 1 50rd box for $23.xx. You have to be lucky enough to be there in the morning if it comes in. They don't even put it on the shelf, they just leave it in the packaging until a few hours...

OP: In the future, can you put the quantity per box in the title? With 223/556 I'll generally assume it's 20, but it's always nice to have that info at a glance.
