The problem with buying gift cards to get these TVs is you forego the extended warranty you'd get by buying with AMEX or other cards. Not sure that's worth it...

You can combine the purchased cards, but not the promo $75 cards. So buy 3 @ $400 and combine to $1200, but then you also have 3 individual $75 cards.
