The little circular saw is good for ripping plywood quick without the weight of a regular saw - I think that's about it in practicality.

I got the drill and driver set (2 batteries and charger and case) for 99 at a home depot deal last year. Works great for all the various small jobs around the house. 59 for the saw and flashlight...
