Note: Some accounts may get an extra 15% Off with promo code BTEXPVS33. The promo code is a targeted offer, so YMMV.

I had this cpu cooler before it performed very well but it has a flaw those pushpins suck. If you say want to take it off to put on new thermal paste after a few years good luck putting it back on

Yup. Haswell (1150) uses the same heatsink design as 1155. However, I'm not sure I would recommend this heatsink if you plan to overclock or do lots of CPU intensive things. It's a decent budget...

You bring up some good points. Cooling effectiveness, ease of installation, and rebate reliability are definitely things to consider.

Think this was in it's heyday when OCZ Vanqush and Vendettas were around, have the older TX-2 running on a couple of socket AM2s

I have both the Loki and the ZALMAN CNPS5X, and also the the first of the CM 212 series (not the new even better version). Unlike the TX3 or the CNPS5X, the Loki uses a backplate. You get a REALLY...

This cooler actually works very well. If you want the ease of using the intel style push pin mount, and don't have enough room for 120mm's or just don't watn to bother with installing a backplate,...

The Loki cooler has a back plate and mounting arms. The CM has push pins for Intel mounting, so they are not the same.

Excellent cooler. I've had one working on a C2D (modest OC) running in the 30-35C. range. Height low 'nuf for narrow cases, too. A little fussy on install w/ those effin' pins, so U may have to...

At that price I'm bound to find a use for it within the next year.

Thanks OP! Have been waiting on a decent price for a < 120mm HSF (for some older CM Praetorian cases).

For $10 you might get some extra 100-500~MHZ out of a processor or get lower temps. The 212+ at $20 is pretty unbeatable for someone who wants modest overclocking to be done (4.4ghz on Intel's Bridge...

If I had to guess, I'd say the Cooler Master has been on the market longer than the XIGMATEC. I've no experience with the XIGMATEK, but this TX-3 works well for it's intended use (

I do not hear much about this cooler--the 212 series gets all the press. It looks like it is just Cooler Master's version of the XIGMATEK LOKI. Does anyone have experience with the two to make a...
