It's such a crapshoot with these things. They're usually LEDs that failed QC, but they range the gamut from awful to almost as good as the real deal.

Would disagree with you. While it is worth $4 it's not rugged IMO. I received 3 defective units and the fourth worked but the 3 way on off switch started to malfunction in cold weather.
