Many people have misinterpreted what that saying means.
The saying is actually sound, but the meaning has been misconstrued by so many to believe that it means that the customer is right at all...

Exactly...we go by the motto that "the customer pays the bills". So you need to remember that you need them since they are what keep you around, but they aren't always right.

I feel your pain, although I do have to say technology these days are buggier than ever.
For example just today, my iPhone stopped syncing email all of a sudden, and we use Microsoft hosted email....
