started using it on my vehicles when I lived in MI. Long winter and salt will seize nuts/bolts like no other. Kraoil worked well on most situations, although there were some nuts/bolts that even...

i think the poster meant you can find at HF a similar HF branded set for a fraction of the money, not the Craftsman set. HF has their own store brands like Pittsburg Pro and regular.

There have been multiple times that I've been in Harbor Freight looking around for particular tools and they had some products that were store specific. Meaning each store had some different items...

Funny you mention Kraoil. My brother is a Ford tech and he said ut works better than PB Blast too. Next time I need to restock on my rust killer supplies I snatch up a bottle of Kraoil. Where abouts...

Correct. 99 out of a 100 of us don't need anything better than HF products. Maybe even lower than 1%. Don't waste your money. Go to HF or somewhere else with cheap stuff.:shake:

Don't forget a couple cans of PB Blast! A wrencher needs PB Blast like peanut butter needs jelly. Nick

I live in WV; rust isn't as bad here as in the northern midwest, but we still see a lot of it. I have both 6-point and 12-point; both have their uses, but I don't find that 12-point rounds nuts and...

You must not live in the salt belt. Here in MI, nuts and bolt's are seized to all hell sometimes. A 6 point is critical.

Me too, and similar timing. As long as you use the correct size, and as long as your socket is well seated on the bolt, 12pt sockets work just fine about 99.5% of the time.

Weird, I've been wrenching on cars for the past 14 years and can't think of a single time that a 12-point socket rounded a nut or bolt off when I used it. I guess if you need a huge amount of...

12pt sockets tend to be the reason for rounded off nuts and bolts in the first place. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ For rounded nuts, I'll use a damaged nut remover socket.
