Mashup is easy to install on FireTv and is just as good if not better than Navi-x. You simply put in the following url in the XBMC program in addons: http://install.mashupxbmc.com

Only downside to my setup is getting the tv listings, thankfully I have a small "server" on all the time that I share the xml file used for listings that I have update daily via cronjob.

I don't remember but you can always do an:
adb shell
then CD to the directory:
CD /sdcard/Downloads
then show contents of the directory:
ls
as a note: Linux is case sensitive so /Downloads...
