I have that hand grinder and it works great you can use a regular mason jar if you break the one that came with it or want a larger one. I just grind the coffee beans while I am waiting for my water...

I got mine for the exact same reason but it clearly is shedding particles. Did a swipe around with a paper towel and it was covered in silver powder. Rinsed and repeated, same deal. Returning.
