That is the reason. As soon as the product is labelled as sold by sears, even it is on kmart.com, the points can be applied. When the product is labelled as "sold by kmart", they don't work.

I only got one of them and it was from 73277. I used it a few days ago on a crockpot at Kmart just fine. It was listed as "sold by sears" though. Maybe that's why.

The one from texting kmart 56278 can be used on kmart.
But the one from texting sears 73277 doesn't work on kmart.

The $5 surprise points still can not be used on kmart. I don't think they are going to fix it since they are expiring tomorrow.

Unsubscribed from both Sears and Kmart and tried twice to resubscribe with "surpriseme". Both times both gave me a $5 off $25 footwear coupon instead :(
