It's technically free for now, because it's in 'Beta'. I believe it mentions in the App that there may be a fee for it in the future. Definitely good for the time being though.

you mention sideload chrome and apk, will scrolling throughout the xfinity work as normal, or do you need a mouse/keyboard or air mouse/toggle mouse thing to get around it?

Are you sure xfinity go app is not working on firetv/stick? A thread on XDA forums mentions it is working but I want to make sure. I am trying to find out so I can setup another room with TV.
