I did not. But I also have zero competition (surprisingly only other option is Verizon DSL, max 3mbps).
The retention department called my bluff instantly when I said I wanted to cancel.

I've been filing FCC complaints every month since the first time I hit that 300GB cap. They are required to address and answer those complaints - if more folks complained, it would probably go away...
