received the gift card in regular mail today. Added it to wallet in kohls app. Shows balance as 0$. It says on the back of the card that "THIS CARD IS NOT VALID UNTIL ACTIVATED AT THE REGISTER"....

How much do you put on your Kohl's card and how much do you put on the gift card? In-store they will budge for anything less (I mean put less on Kohl's card) than 50%-50%.

I use a gift card all the time when I order online..as long as it's less than the amount owed and you put something on your Kohl's card.. and I still use the 30% and any other coupons available
