now i understand i think its the autocomplete option you are looking for. settings>advanced settings>privacy>then check "use a prediction service to help complete searches...." hope this helps.

You are probably looking for an "Extension". Upper right corner under the red X Customize and control and in settings select Extensions. Scroll to the bottom and select "Get more extensions"....
