Are you sure it was fresh and not past its prime? Canning is actually way better for both the beer and the environment than bottles. It keeps both light and oxygen out of beer better than a bottle....

I have nothing against cans and don't see much difference in flavor most of the time. Evil Twin"s Even More Jesus and Imperial Biscotti Break in a can is a steal for the price and both beers taste...

The canned is not as good as the bottle. I had one last week, and I Love Arrogant Bastard, but the can just didn't have the flavor bite of what I enjoy from a bottle or on draft.
