So. based on your math, 1 charge = 1 week, meaning lifetime of device in constant use would be 500 weeks, or a bit less than 10 years.

Quick math shows that it'll take 75 hours to charge by solar,m or three days with direct sunlight. Assuming 12 hours of direct sun a day, you are looking at almost a week.
