Amazon CS has no way of knowing whether Amazon's automated system did or didn't send you an email. If they said they didn't send you anything since June, they may have been referring to order...

Amazon is probably the best customer service in the world right now and this really isn't a exaggeration. So if you having trouble with them then it likely isn't because of their customer service

I have found amazon phone support to be terrible. However, when I contact them via email they are always helpful.

Amazon CS is usually decent. I did one time have a problem with a newbie with Subscribe and
Save. I reported them and Amazon corrected it. Amazon should send you a CS review. Complain.
