Higher resolution has more advantages than just being able to see more. Given two graphic objects of the same size, the one with 4x more pixels (higher pixel density; 4k is 4 times the res of 1080p)...

Yes, but following that logic, why the heck are they buying a 4K monitor if they're just going to make what they see bigger? The point of 4K is to see more at once. You might as well get a bigger...

It's a legitimate concern. Fonts scaling look like @** in Windows sometimes. I have a 25" 1440p monitor that I have no problem with, but most people are like "wtf" first time they see it.

I'm not seeing IPS or PLS mentioned anywhere - so will this suffer from worse viewing angles than the older 1440p Korean monitors? (I loved my QNIX QX2710.)

i'm really enjoying reading the sales images from the ebay link: 4kUHD resolution has over than 800M pixel, so it is shown the objects close to real. This function makes your eyes be...

It says it has "HDCP function". This should only matter if you are going to watch 4K movies on the monitor via a separate 4K player. From a PC.... anyone's guess yet, no 4K bluray playback exists...

Someone says this in every 4k monitor posting. Has no one heard of font scaling before? It's the modern equivalent of your dad running his 1080p monitor in 1024x768 because "the letters are too...

So the 4k at 60hz will only work from the DisplayPort, not the HDMI. I wouldn't buy this if I also want to use a console with it, unless we're expecting Scorpio and future consoles to have...

No DVI, but it looks like you're partially right. If it says hdmi 1.4, then you are limiting the bandwidth, so you can only have 24fps across that hdmi connection. HDCP is not tied directly to the...
