I did not find any noticeable difference in the picture quality. Actually, my D3300, D5500 and D7100 produced similar IQ.

Not much in terms of pic quality. D7100 has better build, autofocus, larger buffer/fps, af motor used on older lesnes. It's metal so it will be heavy

you can try craigstlist. 55-200 can be sold easily (I've sold 3-4) for $100-110. little difficult to sell 18-55mm but if you can wait it goes for $80-90 (I've sold couple of them).
