You'd have to be ordering from incredibly old stock to still have the issue. Wanhao explicitly stated printers shipped before August 27, 2015.

Gotcha. Yeah, those are still crimps.
For anyone else who might read this, the crimps issue was addressed last year and should no longer be an issue in the latest Wanhao i3 or Maker Select.
