I have Flir Secure on my iphone. Is that the same app you are talking about?

This has been a great system for me. Only complaint is that if you want to use the Flir cloud app, you have to lower recording resolution to 1080p instead of 3 mp. I'm hoping that gets fixed soon...

Theoretically, yes. I haven't personally tried it because I'm OK with using the Lorex solution. All you should need is a POE switch to provide power to the cameras and negotiate communication with...

I went from a central closet where the dvr is then through the attic and through the exterior stucco. Then mounted the cameras over the hole for the wire. Can't even see the wire now.

The app is OK, I use direct IP so the app opens up the live view almost instantly, if I use their servers it takes a while like 5 seconds. The app needs probably a good 500 hours of software...

I have this system and it's great, has its flaws but they are all flawed. Overall I recommend it. I cannot integrate it into my zwave system at all.

That's strange I bought it during the July deal and mine is 2TB HDD. I have one main question, can I access the cameras directly so I can use any app I want as opposed to the FLIR app? I see each...

Nobody likes cutting holes in walls and running cables. It sucks! Based on what you have said here, you would do best paying someone to do it for you. I realize that represents additional spending,...

Holes in walls may not be necessary if you can run through your attic. Then you can go through the ceiling. I have a wifi system now (Arlo & it stinks) with zero wires but wouldn't recommend it....

I've always wanted one of these but don't want to drill throw walls and running lines all over the house. How hard is it to install if you're a noob and don't have any home improvement skills? Even...

I can share some of my experiences with analog/digital and BNC/cat5. I've installed all of those systems. Generally: 1) BNC/analog is an old standard and plenty of existing old runs that you can...
