Since RF82ii is so cheap, I use 4 of them, 2 front and 2 surround back. Haven't tried RP-250s (still in the box)

First of all, why would you only buy one. Secondly, why would you buy a surround if you don't have any other speakers, or, do you have a 2.0 set up but with powered monitors?

It is subjective. I have the surrounds and the quality is great (I have white). As for the bookshelf, these use Tractrix horns, and many people do not like how "hot" or "bright" they are and...
