It's not light and compact as these NOCO jump starters but there is a reason why the JNC has been the gold standard of jump starters. They're tough enough for commercial use. They'll supply the amps...

The whole unit is what makes it neat lol. I'm thinking of getting the JNC770 just because it has a mechanical on/off switch. Rather not have accidents with the JNC660 hot wires... I think...

WTF?! Not a good idea. Doing so shortens the battery's life, not to mention what happens to the computer's memory when the battery is completely dead. The proper way would be to hook up a backup...

yes really. If you don't have jumper cables in your car already, you should probably look at getting a set, or buy one of these while you're at it. I just ordered another to keep in our 2nd car.

Chinese ratings use 3.6v, so that would be a 65Wh batt. which would be 5837mAh @11.1v NOCO is made in the USA I believe (citation needed), So GB70 would be a better choice but at 3x the price....

Good luck! I'm sure the GB70 will start your engine without too much issue. It's not terribly small like the GB40.

This is out of control, you can get one of these things for $25 on ebay. Unless you have a business where you need to jump multiple cars a day, this seems like overkill.

Understable, in that case it's still better for you to have a standby battery on a perko switch that is maintained by your on board charger.
