I was expecting 11.5% tax rebate on the $360 sale price ($40), but instead it appears they applied the tax rebate to the full value of $780. So, I got $87 on my rebate instead. Nice!

For Costco deal EIP is required but you can pay off the balance right away with T-Mobile and yes pay taxes upfront.

Does it work with financing the phone for $15/month on the S7? What if you are not a costco member, there is a 5% surcharge but you don't pay anything other than taxes up front right?

I had the same problem at Costco, I have a T-Mobile business account and it wouldn't let them add financing. T-Mobile said it might be because they are an authorized dealer and not a corporate store
