They're both good.
Glass means you get the warming plate, but warming plates have a habit of causing water to steam away resulting in a stronger brew the longer it sits. You can leave it there...

Aeropress makes an amazing cup of coffee. It tends to work best with an espresso grind, I found decent success with the IKEA espresso ground coffee.
But beware, the Aeropress flavor is different...
