The 60in panel is made by sharp...Google Samsung panel lottery, it is pretty well documented...With that being said, rting did a comparison test of the 3 different panels being used on the ks8000...

I think it is a comparable deal to the one posted earlier this month for the 55" variety of this series for $900 at Fry's (for demo and open box). I think Samsung is about to discontinue the 60"...

what? the bezel is larger...but lower quality? I dont see much difference in the 60 and 65 please explain in detail on the differences other than the size?

The screen is the glass part that shows an image. The bezel is the part that acts as the trim around the screen. Some KS8000 have issues where the bezel comes unglued in a corner.

the ads are a single box on the home bar, at the bottom of the screen when you're changing inputs/settings... nothing more. it's really not an issue at all. i bought a 55'' with my EPP/Discover...
